RF Modules

HopeRF's offer highly integrated, low cost,433/868/915MHZ programmable wireless ISM RF modules as transmitters, receivers and transceivers for a wide range of applications. The low receive sensitivity coupled with industry leading output power ensures extended range and improved link performance. Latest modules offer built-in antenna diversity and support for frequency hopping which can be used to further extend range and enhance performance.

LoRa Modules

The  HopeRF LoRa transceivers  feature  the  LoRaTM  long range modem that provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimising current consumption with ultra-low power options. HopeRF LoRa modules offer LORA/FSK transceivers for a wide range of 150 to 960 MHz, wireless applications and support SK, GFSK, MSK, GMSK, LoRaTM and OOK modulation.

LoRa Wan Modules

Optimised for LoRaWAN applications the HopeRF LoRaWAN modules contain Cypress 32-bit CPUs, ranging from M0 (RFM6501W) to M4 (RFM6601W). These modules offer a flexible ARM based embedded solution for LoRaWAN applications. This creates a fully programmable module by using the Infineon owned Cypress PSoC Creator development environment and the CY8CKIT-005 MINIPROG4 program and debug kit. The modules provide a number of GPIO pins that can be utilised to connect to your embedded application. This integrates a wealth of peripherals, provides multiple general purpose IO and 12-bit high-speed ADC input channels. LoRaWAN stacks are available from open source solution providers such as 'The Things Stack', an Open Source LoRaWAN Network Server available from Github. This enables rapid development of LoRaWAN compliant products for your embedded applications.

2.4GHz Modules

The 2.4GHz transceivers from HopeRF are ideal for higher data rate applications that also require ultra low power consumption. The embedded packet processing engines enable a full radio system operation with a very simple MCU. Auto re-transmission and auto acknowledge give a reliable radio link without any MCU overhead and are designed to operate in the 2400-2483.5 MHz ISM band. Supplied with either SPI or I2C interface implementation is quick and simple.

Bluetooth

The HopeRF Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 modules are wireless data pass-through devices that offer a way to quickly realise the connection and data communication between the module and Bluetooth devices such as smartphones and tablets. These modules  require very little resource from the controlling MCU and provide a simple development path. The HM-BT4502A offer BQB and FCC/CE/IC/SRRC Certification. Whilst  the HM-BT4502A offers expandable IO with an ADC and four PWM pins. These devices are easy to use without any experience in Bluetooth stack applications, whilst the interface uses universal serial port design, full-duplex two-way communication and a minimum baud rate support 9600 bps.

WiFi

HopeRF WiFi modules like the HM-WF8720 come with an integrated antenna and provide a complete 802.11n Wi-Fi + Bluetooth network control solution. The device supports WPA/WPA2 security, TKIP/AES encryption and IPv4/ TCP/ UDP/ SSL/ HTTP/ MQTT/ CoAP network protocols. With low power consumption, a compact design, high reliability and pre-certification they provide a rapid solution for improved time to market.
